Job summary

SUPERIOR INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS INC. is hiring a Chemical Blender for our Regent St. location in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time role operates on the 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities include blending and transferring chemicals, reading blending instructions, sampling for QC, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace while following PPE and safety protocols. Training for forklift operation and safety is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification provided or training is provided.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Transfer products into and out of pails, drums, and totes using pumps and hoses.
• Read paperwork with chemical amounts and blending instructions.
• Submit product samples to the Lab for quality control.
• Follow chemical handling, cleanliness, and safety protocols in controlled environments.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure product quality and safe operations.
• Inspect, label, store, and prepare products for shipment.
• Operate a forklift and wear PPE as required.
• Lift and move up to 55 lbs.
• Cross-train in shipping/receiving, bulk handling, and inventory control.

What We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking a Chemical Blender to work at our Regent St.location in Indianapolis, IN.

Schedule

• Full-time, 1st shift
• Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Additional hours may be required

What You’ll Do

• Transfer products into and out of pails, drums, and totes using transfer pumps and hoses
• Read paperwork with chemical amounts and blending instructions
• Pull product samples and submit them to the Lab for quality control
• Work in controlled “white room” and food-safe environments while following established chemical handling, cleanliness, and safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to help ensure product quality and safe operations
• Label containers and secure closures
• Inspect, label, store, and prepare products for shipment
• Stage, load, and unload pails, drums, and totesOperate a forklift
• Wear required PPE for safety
• Keep your work area safe, clean, and orderly
• Lift and/or move 55 lbs
• Cross-train in areas such as shipping/receiving, bulk handling, inventory control, chemical packaging, fiberglass handling, tote cleaning, preventive maintenance, and yard truck spotting
• Other duties as assigned

Candidates Should Possess

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong safety mindset
• Forklift certification (training is provided)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to work with co-workers.
