Job summary

Flint Hills Resources (FHR), a Koch company, invites rising Chemical Engineers to join a 12-week in-person internship at the Pine Bend Refinery in Rosemount, MN. As a Chemical Engineering Intern, you will explore process engineering, plant optimization, process controls, and troubleshooting, with mentors guiding your individual projects.

Participants gain hands-on experience on real projects, with weekly learning sessions and location-specific programming, preparing you for future opportunities

Qualifications

Enrolled in a 4-year degree program majoring in Chemical Engineering.
Eligible for full-time employment during or before Summer 2028.
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Work on real-life projects in process engineering, plant optimization, and troubleshooting.
Participate in a 12-week in-person internship at the Pine Bend Refinery in Rosemount, MN.
Receive mentorship and complete assigned projects to build foundational engineering experience.
