Flint Hills Resources is offering a Summer 2027 Mechanical Engineering Internship at our Corpus Christi refinery. You will engage in hands-on projects, learn about rotating equipment and reliability, and receive mentorship to help pave your career in the energy sector.

The 12-week, in-person program emphasizes professional development, teamwork, and practical problem-solving in a real refinery environment, with opportunities to network across Koch Industries.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4 year degree program majoring in Mechanical Engineering
• Eligible for full-time employment during or before Summer 2028
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa transfer or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Work on real-life projects and challenges in the refinery setting
• Learn about rotating equipment, equipment reliability and performance
• Assist with project management and troubleshooting during the internship

Education

Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree (in progress)
