Job summary

Flint Hills Resources (FHR) invites applications for Summer 2028 Chemical Engineering Interns at our Corpus Christi, TX refinery. Interns collaborate on real projects, receiving mentorship to learn process engineering, plant optimization, and troubleshooting in a hands-on environment.

The 12-week, in-person program includes exposure to Koch Industries, Principles Based Management, and community engagement, with a focus on safety and career growth within the Koch network.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year degree program majoring in Chemical Engineering.
• Eligible for full-time employment during or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 12-week in-person internship at the Corpus Christi refinery.
• Work on real engineering projects with mentors to learn process engineering, plant optimization and troubleshooting.
