RTX (Pratt & Whitney) in Clayville, NY, is hiring for an onsite role requiring a HS diploma and less than 1 year of experience. The position operates on a 7th shift (Mon-Thurs, 2 PM–12 AM, 4x10) with a $21.00 hourly rate.

Candidates must meet US citizenship requirements and be able to wear a respirator. The role involves sample preparation, instrument setup, data entry, and adherence to safety and CORE guidelines, with opportunities for growth and benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must have a strong attendance record.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to work hours outside of the regular shift.
• Must have good mechanical aptitude and be able to wear a respirator.

Responsabilités

• Prepare samples and perform analysis on a wide variety of materials where methods and techniques have been established.
• Perform instrument set up and calibration.
• Organize, report and maintain records of analysis.
• Enter test results into various databases.
• Perform continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.
• Adhere to EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required PPE.
