Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a manufacturing technician for our Clayville, NY site. The role operates in an environmentally controlled area, handling super alloy, hoist operations, and machine processes to exact work instructions.

Responsibilities include operating main room machines (Scalper, classifier, High Sifter), performing disassembly/reassembly to QC standards, and supporting CORE and EH&S initiatives. Schedule is Fri-Sun (3x12) 7:00am-7:00pm; onsite work with full benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED in the US is required.
• Basic hoist and rigging operations experience preferred.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles safely per work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Process super alloy within an environmentally controlled area following written work instructions.
• Operate machines in the main room according to standards (eg. Scalper, classifier, High Sifter).
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble main room machines and containers to QC standard.
• Support continuous improvement and EH&S initiatives, including using PPE.
• Refer difficulties to Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Work schedule: Friday - Sunday (3x12) 7:00am - 7:00pm.
