Job summary

United States Army Reserve is seeking a Culinary Specialist (92G) at entry level. You will cook meals and work with chefs to provide meals comparable to major restaurants, ensuring Soldiers have hot meals during training or deployments.

You will prepare and service meals in the field and at home stations, order and inspect food supplies, and maintain kitchen safety and sanitation. Army benefits apply upon enlistment.

Job description

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and as a Culinary Specialist (92G), you’ll cook meals and work alongside chefs to prepare meals comparable to any major restaurant, so that Soldiers can sit down and enjoy a hot meal in between training or mission deployments. You’ll be responsible for preparing and servicing meals both in the field and at home stations, as well as ordering, inspecting food supplies, and keeping the kitchen safe and sanitary. This is not a civilian contractor position. Position is entry level.

Requirements

• A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
• 17 to 34 Years Old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Meet Tattoo Guidelines

• 10 weeks of Basic Training
• 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
