Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a hands-on Chef Manager to lead culinary operations across a community dining program. You’ll collaborate with front and back of house teams to deliver hospitality-focused meals and mentor culinary staff for growth.

You’ll ensure recipe consistency, manage inventories, control costs, and drive resident satisfaction through superior dining service while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe certificate required.
• Formal culinary training through degree or certificate program.
• Must communicate clearly in English (verbal & written).
• Flexible schedule to meet dining program needs.
• Experience using MS Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food service operations and schedule kitchen staff to ensure quality and productivity.
• Ensure recipe consistency and plan menus for events aligned with company standards.
• Drive resident and guest satisfaction through exceptional dining service.
• Manage food orders, inventory, avoid waste, and maintain budget compliance.
• Train staff on safety, food handling, and kitchen cleanliness; enforce policies.
