Job summary

Morrison Living in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Chef Manager to lead the culinary and food service operation, with responsibility for menu development, inventory, purchasing, and local sourcing. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of culinary management in contract foodservice or fine dining, working knowledge of HACCP, strong P&L understanding, and a passion for quality, sanitation, and presentation.

ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

Must have working knowledge of HACCP.
Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, and presentation.

Responsibilities

Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering, and receiving.
Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with focus on sourcing local food products.
Passion for sustainability and high standards of sanitation and presentation.
