Job summary

DIG INN Chefs-In-Training in Ardmore, OK is recruiting for a Restaurant Team Member role. Starting pay is $16–$18/hour plus $2–3/hour tips and additional benefits.

You will train in scratch-based kitchens, learn kitchen stations, and grow toward skilled culinary roles in a community emphasizing education, purpose, and taste. You will prep, cook, and discuss seasonal offerings with guests, while supporting the team during busy times and maintaining DIG safety standards.

Qualifications

• You have a passion for real, good food and a desire to learn culinary practices and skills.
• You can demonstrate a strong work ethic and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to perform physical requirements and multi-task during extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, and grains using recipes as a guide.
• Gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line, and delivery/packout stations.
• Talk about menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests to enhance their experience.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service and pitch in where needed.
• Maintain safety standards and uphold anti-discrimination policies.
• Contribute to the mission of rebuilding the food system.
