Job summary

Marlow's Tavern in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Dishwasher/Prep to support a world-class dining experience by cleaning service ware and preparing ingredients for service. You will work with the kitchen team to ensure readiness for daily service and uphold high sanitation standards.

Daily duties include station setup, ingredient prep, portioning, temperature checks, and collaboration with chefs and managers. We offer benefits and opportunities for growth within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US.
• Able to work day and night shifts between 11am-11pm.
• Reliable transportation.
• Speak/read/write and understand English.
• Basic computational ability.
• Able to taste food and beverages to understand flavor profiles.
• Able to memorize and replicate food production procedures.
• Able to read prep and service recipes.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Maintains uniform standards daily.
• Communicates with chef, managers and team members about daily features and shift information.
• Retrieves food products from storage based on daily production needs and par levels for prep.
• Sets up station with products and utensils and powers on equipment for production readiness.
• Prepares raw ingredients for line and recipes.
• Mixes and assembles recipe ingredients with proper portions and methods.
• Assists with evaluation of par levels and daily prep lists.
• Checks and adjusts equipment temperatures to ensure safe cooking and storage.
• Prepares items per recipe and cooking standards.
• Inspects color, texture, and temperature of foods to ensure standards.
• Maintains dish machine and dish station for cleaning and sanitizing wares.
