Job summary

Marlow’s Tavern in Smyrna, GA is seeking a hands-on dishwasher/prep to support a world-class dining experience by keeping service-ware clean and by preparing food products for the line. The role emphasizes sanitation, proper portioning, and teamwork to ensure smooth kitchen operations and high standards of quality.

Daily duties include following safety procedures, setting up stations, aiding the chef with prep, and communicating with managers about features and events.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the US.
• Able to work day and night shifts between 11am-11pm.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Speak, read, write and understand English.
• Possess basic computational ability.
• Able to taste food & beverage offerings to learn flavor profiles and support preparation.

Responsibilities

• Understands and adheres to all food safety and sanitation procedures and promotes a safe work place
• Follow excellence in great uniform standards daily
• Communicates with chef, managers and other team members about daily features, events, and shift information
• Retrieves sufficient food product from storage based on daily production needs and par levels for prep
• Sets up station with food products and utensils and turns on equipment to ensure the station is ready for production
• Cleans and prepares raw ingredients for use on the line and in recipes
• Assists Chef with evaluation of on hand par levels and completion of daily prep lists
• Checks and adjusts temperature of equipment to ensure food is cooked and stored at the proper temperature
• Prepares food items using recipe instructions and proper portioning methods
• Inspects color, consistency, firmness, and temperature of food products to ensure standards
• Assembles the dish machine and maintains the dish station for cleaning and sanitizing utensils
