Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company seeks a Chef De Partie (Lead Line Cook) at Schweitzer. Lead line during service, prepare ingredients, ensure recipes and portions, and maintain a clean kitchen.

Responsibilities include presenting dishes, coordinating with BOH/FOH teams, and upholding safety standards. Four years line cook experience and basic math/English skills required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years line cook experience.
• English reading/writing and basic math required.
• Ability to work with Back of House and Front of House teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.
• Ensure all prep is done according to recipes and portion standards.
• Cook dishes in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Assemble dishes with attention to presentation and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries and flag low or expired stock.

This position is responsible for identifying needed prep and leading the line during service. You will be responsible for food preparation, presentation, and keeping the kitchen clean.
