Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The role offers a rate of €17.50 per hour, 40 hours per week, with a 5 over 7 rota and a chance to showcase technical skills across stations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a Chef de Partie role with developing seniority.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Capable and willing to be responsible for service during key periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and cooking according to recipes while maintaining safety.
• Oversee station production and keep area stocked and clean.
• Maintain high quality, presentation and taste.
• Communicate effectively with team and assist colleagues.
• Collaborate on menu development and tasting new recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure equipment works properly.
