Position Summary:

Crow's Bench restaurant is centered around farm-to-table alpine cuisine, where we make our food from scratch. If you have a passion for global cuisine and a love for learning, this is the job for you. You will be responsible for food preparation, presentation, and keeping a clean kitchen.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.
• Ensure all prep is done according to recipes and portion standards. Work in close liaison with chef.
• Cooking and assembling dishes - cooks menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Assembles dishes with attention to presentation and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.
• Responsible for inventory and stock management by assisting in receiving and storing deliveries and alerting leadership when inventory stock is low.
• Must be willing to work with both the Back of House and Front of House teams.

Specific Job Skills

License/Certifications - Idaho Food Safety Certification is preferred

Physical Capabilities - Able to stand/walk for whole shift, lift up to 50 lbs

Additional - Worksite is 100% inside and you will be exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards. All sensory skills needed. There is a possibility of outdoor work during summer for operating outdoor grill.

Minimum time in related position - Restaurant kitchen and line cook experience preferred.
