Job summary

Destination Hospitality LLC in Steamboat Springs, CO is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to lead the kitchen, execute menus, and develop the BOH team. You will drive quality, consistency, and hospitality while upholding brand standards and Prof. ServSafe practices.

Qualifications

• Progressive culinary leadership experience in upscale/high-volume kitchens.
• Expert knowledge of cooking techniques, butchery, sauces and modern plating.
• Proficiency with inventory, costing, scheduling and kitchen technology tools.
• Current ServSafe Manager certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Own daily culinary execution; calibrate seasoning, texture and temperatures.
• Translate seasonal direction into tested recipes, plating guides and tech sheets.
• Lead expo and coordinate pass; maintain pacing, quality control and FOH communication.
• Recruit, train, coach and performance-manage BOH team; foster professional culture.
• Enforce health and food-safety standards; manage labeling, FIFO and storage.
• Own COGS and labor, build recipes, conduct inventories and manage ordering/receiving.
