The Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine is seeking a dedicated Chef to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily preparation and delivery of meals for patients, ensuring adherence to therapeutic dietary requirements. The position requires a high school diploma and a passion for working in a healthcare environment. Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine - a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility. Our center will provide acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder.
As a Chef, you will be instrumental in the daily food preparation and delivery of cold or hot foods for patient meals. If you are passionate about improving behavior health and excited about the opportunity to be a part of opening a new hospital, we would love the opportunity to meet you.

• Perform routine tasks related to clean up, and sanitation of kitchen, dining or serving areas.
• Properly prepare, serve and store food in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure compliance with state or federal regulations.
• Prepare foods according to standardized recipes.
• Utilize service methods and food handling techniques to ensure quality.
