Job summary

VK Capital Ventures Inc. in Houston is seeking a Chef Co-op Success Manager to own the onboarding journey from application through readiness to first booking, working with the COO's chef cohort program.

You will coordinate cohorts, track each chef's progress, align ready cooks with dinners, classes and demos, and surface onboarding experience insights to improve CX and outcomes. You will collaborate with the founding team to refine processes and grow the co-op's impact.

Qualifications

• Community, cohort, marketplace-supply, or member-success management experience
• Chef or hospitality background a strong plus - you will be credible in a kitchen conversation
• Warm, organized, relentless follow-through: nobody in your cohort goes dark
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred - our co-op recruits bilingually, including retreat chefs

Responsibilities

• Own chef onboarding end-to-end: application -> profile -> readiness -> first booking
• Run the cohort rhythm with Siobhan's program: check-ins, readiness milestones, and honest feedback in both directions
• Track every chef's path in our systems - who is ready, who is stuck, and what unblocks them
• Connect ready chefs to placement demand (dinners, classes, demos, retreats) with the placement lane
• Surface chef experience into our CX data: what onboarding feels like, measured, not guessed

VK Capital Ventures Inc. runs Travel Villa Kitchen - a Houston chef co-op, cooking-class and private-dinner company (plus Six Rows Coffee and Farm2Chef, our farmer-chef marketplace). We are Human First service practitioners: healthy communication and people who are happy and emotionally safe in service is how we work - our chefs feel that first. We are hiring a Chef Co-op Success Manager to own the journey from chef onboarding to first paid gig, working with our COO's chef cohort program: chefs who join the co-op should never wonder what happens next.

Schedule

Full-time, standard business hours, with cohort sessions and events on the program calendar (evenings/weekends as scheduled).
