Job summary

Glanbia Dairy Nutrition in Blackfoot, ID, is seeking a table operator for the cheese making process. You will test ingredients, add materials, and run associated equipment on the tables to maintain product quality.

Responsibilities include accurate record keeping, timely sampling, and coordinating with the shift team lead. Candidates must read/write English and be able to stand and operate all relevant equipment during shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate or learn to operate the equipment.
• Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment.
• Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality.
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift if needed.
• Ability to read and write instructions in English.
• Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals.
• Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required.
• Desire to grow with the company.
• Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure.
• Must be well organized.
• Ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records and paperwork accurately.
• Take samples in a timely manner.
• Communicate regularly with shift TL.
• Ensure cheese quality meets customer specifications.
• Make changes to table times as needed or as instructed.
• Stay current with SOPs as equipment and process changes.
• Monitor equipment.
• Take pH and Moisture on Cheese; perform salt addition.
• Safely handle, measure, mix, and dispose of CIP chemicals per SDS and safety policies.
• Complies with food safety regulations and mandates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
