Job summary

Glanbia Dairy Nutrition's Blackfoot Plant is seeking a Tower Operator to assure product quality meets customer specs by following procedures and programs. You will sanitize towers, run in manual and auto modes, and manage cheese bag inventory while complying with GMP and safety rules.

Responsibilities include CIP breakdowns, chemical handling per SDS, proper sanitation of conveyors, and potential overtime or weekend work as needed. A strong safety mindset and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and trustworthy.
• Accurate in taking samples and performing tests.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate necessary equipment.
• Read and write instructions in English.
• Able to work weekends and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize towers every two hours.
• Run towers in manual and auto mode.
• Perform accurate inventory of cheese bags.
• Break down tower during CIP.
• Handle and dispose of cleaning chemicals per SDS and safety policies.
• Clean block conveyor lines and re-bag cheese if needed.
• Adhere to GMP and food safety regulations.
• Follow all safety rules and job instructions.
