Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Basic computer use for scales, labeling, and ordering.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to shoppers in the cheese department.
• Take orders from customers by phone or in person and assist with selections.
• Answer questions about products and make recommendations.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and boost sales.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh cheese daily while maintaining quality.
• Slice, package, label, rotate, and cull products as needed for quality.
• Maintain display cases, clean and sanitize as required.
• Operate and maintain department equipment; follow food safety and sanitation standards.
