Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a dedicated Deli/Bakery team member to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain a safe, clean environment, and assist the department manager in achieving sales and quality standards. You will work closely with the Deli/Bakery teams to engage customers and ensure accurate product portions and safe handling.

Responsibilities

Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions.
Offer product samples to help customers discover items.
Inform customers of Cheese Shop specials.
Provide customers with fresh products ordered with correct portions to prevent shrink.
Prepare and mix ingredients according to recipes with various kitchen utensils.
Label and inventory department merchandise.
Check product quality and review sell by dates.
Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to management.
Maintain awareness of inventory and compliance with safety guidelines.
Follow directions and support customers with issues.
