Job summary

Kroger is seeking a committed team member to join the Deli/Bakery department to deliver an outstanding customer experience and maintain a safe, clean environment. You will support the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals while engaging with customers and promoting fresh, correctly portioned products.

You will respond to inquiries, suggest items, offer samples, and stay informed about Cheese Shop specials.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist department manager in achieving sales and profit goals.
• Respond to customer questions and make product suggestions.
• Offer samples to help customers discover products.
• Inform customers of Cheese Shop specials.
• Provide fresh products with correct portion sizes.
• Measure, prepare and mix ingredients per recipe.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Maintain food safety and correct temperatures in cases and coolers.
• Report safety risks or incidents to store management.
• Collaborate with Deli/Bakery teams to create a customer-friendly environment.
