Job summary

Marathon Cheese is seeking Line Workers for the 2nd shift in Mississippi. Starting pay is $19.30 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift. The role involves operating a state-of-the-art packaging line and adhering to GMP, safety rules and SQF standards.

Candidates should be able to read and write English, perform basic math, work as part of a team and maintain a professional image with customers and colleagues. High school diploma preferred; prior manufacturing experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Feed cheese onto production line for wrapping and packaging.
• Comply with GMP, SQF and safety rules.
• Set up and operate scales to weigh product.
• Pack cheese into boxes, stack pallets and inspect seals and dates.
• Use box erecting, case sealing and labeling equipment.
• Perform sanitation of work area and equipment.
