Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Packaging Associate in Lena, MS. The role involves performing packaging duties, rotating between lines, and adhering to GMP and food safety standards to ensure product quality.

You will read schedules, assist in line setups, and maintain cleanliness while supporting a collaborative team environment. The position offers a shift premium for night hours and a benefits package after 90 days.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent education, experience, or training.
• Excellent work ethic, consistent attendance, and ability to work overtime and holidays.
• Ability to work with mathematical figures (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Physical ability to lift 25-30 lb tubs of cheese/finished product and perform medium to heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging duties as assigned by the Packaging Supervisor.
• Rotate between lines and positions with proper ergonomics.
• Read and understand production and packaging schedule and reports.
• Set up for production and changeovers.
• Visually inspect product for quality defects.
• Adhere to GMP and food safety procedures.
• Operate and maintain foamer.
• Follow all safety and work rules.
