Job summary

Marathon Cheese in Booneville, MS, is hiring Material Handlers for the Third Shift. Starting pay is $19.80+ per hour with a $1.50 shift differential for 3rd Shift. Benefits are offered. Work involves feeding cheese, operating packaging equipment, and maintaining GMP and safety standards.

Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with varying schedules; manufacturing environment requires lifting up to 75 pounds and standing for long periods. Prior forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English and perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Open product and feed cheese onto cutting equipment; adjust cutting equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF and safety rules and regulations.
• Move pallets; perform basic cleanup; assist other positions as needed.
• Pack cheese into boxes; stack boxes on pallets; inspect seals and code dates.
• Operate box erecting, case sealing, and labeling equipment.
• Sanitize work area and equipment as needed.
