Joseph Gallo Farms is seeking a Category Manager based in the West region (Atwater, CA preferred) to develop cheese category strategies using syndicated data, shopper insights, and retailer performance. You will partner with sales, marketing, and finance to translate analysis into actionable recommendations for assortment, pricing, promotions, and distribution.

Responsibilities include leading category reviews, presenting findings to buyers, and driving growth across national and regional

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Six+ years in grocery category management or related CPG roles.
• Experience with category reviews, assortment recommendations, pricing analysis, or promotional plans.
• Experience with NielsenIQ and Circana data platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present data clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Develop category strategies for cheese across national and regional grocery accounts.
• Analyze syndicated data, POS, loyalty insights to identify opportunities.
• Evaluate assortment, shelving, distribution, and pricing opportunities.
• Lead category insights in customer meetings and collaborate withSales on execution.
• Build category presentations, dashboards, and reports for buyers and leadership.
• Monitor competitors and use market research to inform product and channel decisions.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to align recommendations with priorities.
