Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an enthusiastic instructor to teach a hands-on after-school class in Palo Alto. Curriculum, lesson plans and all materials are provided; you bring the energy and joy. Teach a class that kids look forward to each week, set up early, guide them safely to dismissal, and keep the room engaging and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in academic or after-school settings.
• 2+ years teaching, instructing or coaching (preferred).
• Educational, training or youth-development experience.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the class with energy and keep every student engaged.
• Arrive early to set up, and hand students off safely at dismissal.
• Manage the room so it stays safe and fun.
• Stay in touch with your Program Success Manager.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children

• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus
• Reliable transportation, and able to commit to every scheduled date
