Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an energetic after-school instructor to lead a hands-on STEAM class for grades K-5 in Foster City, CA. The role runs Tue-Thu from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, with class dates listed, and pays $60 per hour per class. Curriculum and materials are provided, and training is offered.

You bring experience with children and reliability; you must be able to commit to every scheduled date. A Program Success Manager provides ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• AA degree or higher; Teaching degree or certificate preferred.
• 2+ years teaching, instructing or coaching (preferred).
• Educational, training or youth-development experience.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and ability to commit to every scheduled date.

Responsibilities

• Lead the class with energy and keep every student engaged.
• Arrive early to set up, and hand students off safely at dismissal.
• Manage the room so it stays safe and fun.
• Stay in touch with your Program Success Manager.

Qualifications:
