Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic After-School Coaches to teach Cheer and Dance to elementary students in Prince George's County. This part-time, after-school role runs Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM, with 1.5-hour sessions.

Curriculum and equipment are provided, and weekends are not required. Ideal candidates are students in majors like Physical Education, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Dance, Recreation, Education, Child Development, or Psychology, or those with cheer/dance

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Cheer or Dance preferred.
• Comfortable working with grades K–5.
• Reliable transportation to schools in Prince George's County.
• Must complete the Prince George's County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students Cheer/Dance activities.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic and reliable After-School Coaches to teach Cheer and Dance to elementary-aged students in fun, structured enrichment programs throughout Prince George's County.

This is an excellent opportunity for college students interested in education, coaching, youth development, kinesiology, exercise science, recreation, dance, or physical education. If you enjoy working with children and creating a positive, active learning environment, we'd love to hear from you.

We are currently hiring coaches to teach Cheer and Dance programs.

Position Details

• Part-time, after-school position
• Monday through Friday
• Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
• 1.5-hour sessions
• $45 per session ($30 per hour)
• No weekends
• No lesson planning required
• Curriculum and equipment provided
