Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc is hiring energetic and reliable After-School Coaches to teach Cheer and Dance to elementary-aged students in Prince George's County.

This part-time, after-school role runs Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with 1.5-hour sessions; no weekends; curriculum provided; gain hands-on teaching experience and build classroom management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Cheer or Dance is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with children in grades K–5.
• Reliable transportation to schools in Prince George's County.
• Background check and fingerprinting required by Prince George's County Public Schools.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students Cheer/Dance activities.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.

We are currently hiring coaches to teach Cheer and Dance programs.

Position Details

• Part-time, after-school position
• Monday through Friday
• Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
• 1.5-hour sessions
• $45 per session ($30 per hour)
• No weekends
• No lesson planning required
• Curriculum and equipment provided
