Responsibilities include operating the register, handling transactions, and maintaining awareness of safety and asset protection. This entry-level role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Explain information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and colleagues.
• Follow written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Stand, bend and stoop for prolonged periods in a fast-paced grocery setting.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills are helpful.
