Job summary

El Super in Pico Rivera, California, is seeking a Checker (#54) to join our Store Operations Team. Under direct supervision, you will maintain outstanding customer service, process sales quickly and accurately, operate the cash register, and safeguard assets in a fast-paced grocery setting.

The ideal candidate can lift up to 60 pounds, read and follow simple instructions, and possesses basic PC/Outlook skills.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and employees.
• Follow written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
