Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market in West Des Moines is seeking a Coordinat or Team Member to ensure efficient checkout and friendly service at the front registers. You will handle payments, greet customers, and help maintain accurate cash control while upholding food-safety guidelines.

This role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years of retail experience with some management exposure; Serv Safe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience; 1 year of management experience; natural foods experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and guidance compliance.
• Serv Safe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customers receive outstanding service through checkout lanes.
• Greets customers and responds promptly to customer needs.
• Oversees operation of cash registers and processes payments.
• Maintains clean checkout areas and ensures proper cash handling.
• Ensures POS transactions and cash control are correctly managed.
• Reviews customer feedback and daily performance.
• Maintains price accuracy and signage compliance.
• Promotes a safe work environment and adheres to procedural guidelines.
• Attends to daily tasks and supports store operations as needed.
