Tyson Foods in Edwardsville, KS is hiring for a Checker Opr D on the overnight shift. You will remove pallets from trailers with a forklift, verify product and quantities, and prepare cases for storage in a cold environment.

This is a 12-hour shift, 3.5 days a week, in a cooler with temperatures from -10 to 32 F. Starting pay is $25.45/hr plus a $1.50 attendance incentive and a 0.50 shift premium. Benefits include PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience within the last 5 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Must be willing to lift up to 90 lbs frequently and up to 110 lbs occasionally.
• Stand for 12 hours per day on hard floors in a cold environment.
• Willing to cross train and be moved to other areas as needed.

Job tasks include break down and stack cases while receiving, verify correct product, date, and quantity. Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry 90 pounds or more. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, and reaching are involved in this job. This is a cooler/freezer warehouse the temperatures range from -10 degrees F. to 32 degrees; PPE will be provided. Shifts consist of 12 hours a day, 3 1/2 days a week.
