Tyson Foods in Edwardsville, IL is hiring for an Order selector on D-shift overnights. The role involves operating a forklift to unload pallets, breaking down and stacking cases, and verifying product, date, and quantity. Expect long shifts (12 hours) and the need to lift 90+ pounds frequently in a cold warehouse (-10°F to 32°F).

PPE provided. Starting pay is $25.45 per hour with an attendance incentive of $1.50 and a shift premium of $0.50. Shifts are Wed 12am–6am and Thu–Sat 6pm–6am.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience through a single employer in the last 5 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90lbs cases and occasionally lift up to 110lbs cases.
• Must be willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and climb for 12 hours per day.
• Cross training and movement to other areas as needed.
• Stand for 12 hours on hard floors in a cold environment (-10° to 30°F).

SUMMARY: In this position pallets are removed from trailers using a forklift. Job tasks include break down and stack cases while receiving, verify correct product, date, and quantity. Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry 90 pounds or more. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, and reaching are involved in this job. This is a cooler/freezer warehouse the temperatures range from -10 degrees F. to 32 degrees; PPE will be provided. Shifts consist of 12 hours a day, 3 1/2 days a week. As Team Member grow with the company growth opportunities are assigned.

Qualifications: (experience must be listed on application to be considered for this position)

• Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90lbs cases and occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry up to 110lbs cases.
• Must be willing to frequently stand, walk, bend, stretch, and climb.
• Must be willing to cross train and be moved to other areas as needed.
• Must be willing and able to stand for 12 hours per day on hard floors in a cold environment with temperature range from -10° to 30°F.

• This location is not considering prior Tyson Team members at this time.
