Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV to join our team. The role involves loading and securing products in trailers both by hand and with powered equipment, while ensuring quality control on non-conveyable items and communicating any issues to drivers and supervisors. A strong emphasis on safety and accuracy is required.

The position offers a Wednesday-Friday? schedule? Not applicable; but typically a Monday–Friday shift with comprehensive benefits after 60 days,

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level for safety and task instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Operate by hand or powered equipment to move items.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable products prior to loading.
• Report product integrity concerns to a supervisor.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Benefits you can count on:

Pay Rate: $24.25 to $29.25 per hour.

• Monday- Friday 10:00am-6:30pm

What you’ll do as a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV:

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Job duties will be completed by hand or by use of powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for Non conveyable products prior to loading.
• Bring any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor's attention.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
