Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV in New York. You’ll load and secure products, use manual or powered equipment, and help ensure product integrity while keeping a clean, safe work area.

This role offers an hourly pay range of $22.50 to $26.50, Sunday through Thursday starts at 8am, with medical, dental, and vision coverage after 60 days, plus paid time off, holidays after 90 days, and additional benefits such as pet insurance and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• English reading/writing/comprehension required for tasks and safety.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers safely.
• Perform tasks by hand or with powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable products prior to loading.
• Report product integrity concerns to a supervisor.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Pay Rate: $22.50 - $26.50 per hour
• Sunday - Thursday, 8am start

What you’ll do as a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV:

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Job duties will be completed by hand or by use of powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for Non conveyable products prior to loading.
• Bring any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor's attention.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
