Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Findlay, OH is seeking a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV to load and secure products in our cooler/freezer department. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, at $23.50 per hour.

You will load with hand or powered tools, ensure product quality, and report issues to supervisors. Expect a clean, safe work environment with comprehensive benefits starting after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• English reading/writing required to perform tasks safely and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Perform tasks by hand or with powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable products prior to loading.
• Report any product integrity concerns to a supervisor.
• Communicate special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What you’ll do as a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV:

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Job duties will be completed by hand or by use of powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for Non conveyable products prior to loading.
• Bring any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor's attention.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.

• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
