Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV to join our team. You will load and secure products for outbound trailers, using hand tools or powered equipment as needed, while maintaining quality control on non-conveyable items.

You must communicate any product concerns to supervisors and coordinate with drivers via reporting tools. We value safety, accuracy, and teamwork, offering comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• English reading/writing at required level for safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers safely.
• Tasks may be done by hand or with powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable items before loading.
• Report product integrity concerns to a supervisor.
• Communicate special circumstances to the driver via Shipping Loading Report.
• Keep the work area clean and debris-free.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Benefits you can count on:

• Pay Rate: $22.25 per hour.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 10:00AM till complete.

What you'll do as a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV:

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Job duties will be completed by hand or by use of powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for Non conveyable products prior to loading.
• Bring any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor's attention.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
