Job summary

Fiesta Mart, part of the Chedraui USA family, is hiring a Checker at 12584 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77077. Under direct supervision, you will support a fast-paced grocery environment while delivering excellent customer service and efficient sales transactions.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 60 pounds and communicate effectively in English and Spanish. Prior retail exposure is a plus; full-time and part-time roles may be available depending on store needs.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checker is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, performing cash register operations and safeguarding company assets. Must be able to bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of time. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
