Chedraui USA is seeking a Checker at our Houston-Jensen location. You will provide friendly, efficient service, handle sales transactions, and help maintain store standards.

This role requires bilingual communication in Spanish and English and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds as needed. Candidates should be able to read product pricing codes and labels, interact with customers and coworkers, and follow simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding customer service according to company standards.
• Process sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Perform cash register operations and safeguard company assets.
• Bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods of time.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English and interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.
