Job summary

Cheba Hut Franchising in Little Rock is seeking a Bartender who will craft unique bar experiences, uphold Cheba Hut standards, and contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere.

You will join a team that values guest engagement, beverage quality, and compliance with alcohol laws while delivering approachable craft cocktails, local beer, and great service across bar, lobby, and patio.

Qualifications

• Alcohol safety certification required (ServeSafe, TIPS, etc.).
• Restaurant or food & beverage experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable lifting up to 159 lbs and staying energized during shifts.

As a Bartender, you'll create a unique bar experience that aligns with Cheba Hut culture and Core Values. You'll uphold bar standards, follow alcohol laws, and bring a positive, inclusive attitude to every shift. We serve approachable craft cocktails and local beer. This role reports to the General Manager and is accountable to the Bar Manager.

What You'll Own

Guest Experience & Interaction

Create a unique and enjoyable environment every shift

• Prioritize "interaction over the transaction."
• Recommend signature cocktails, craft beers, and food menu items
• Deliver efficient service at the bar, lobby, and patio
• Build loyal guests through genuine engagement

Product Quality & Shoperations

• Follow all bar recipes, S.O.P.s, and product standards
• Stay current on drink recipes and brand partners
• Practice F.I.F.O. and proper labeling procedures
• Maintain a clean, stocked, organized bar
• Demonstrate integrity with cash handling and discounts

Safety & Responsibility (we take this seriously)

• Uphold all local and national alcohol laws
• Verify IDs and enforce alcohol service policies
• Monitor guest consumption and act responsibly
• Maintain strong situational awareness
• Complete incident documentation when required

Team Support

• Assist with in-shop orders during peak periods
• Support Expo, phone orders, and Lobby Love
• Maintain beverage stations and prep items
• Jump in where the shop needs you most

What Makes You a Fit

• Previous restaurant or food & beverage experience preferred, but not required
• Alcohol safety certification (ServeSafe, TIPS, etc.) required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable lifting up to a ½ barrel keg (159 lbs, team lift encouraged) Comfortable embracing Cheba Hut's playful, non-traditional "Toasted" atmosphere
