Job summary

CheBA Hut is seeking a skilled Bartender to craft unique cocktails and provide outstanding guest service. You will manage a fast-paced bar, maintain inventory, and uphold safety standards while contributing to the CheBA atmosphere.

Applicants should have proven bartending experience, knowledge of spirits, wines and beers, and excellent communication. Flexible schedules are available, with full-time or part-time opportunities.

Cheba Hut is a “Toasted” sub concept that has been curing munchies since its start in 1998. Founder Scott Jennings decided to showcase the harmony between great tasting food and … well, a very specific counter-culture. The menu features over 30 signature sub sandwiches, as well as a variety of Rice Krispy treats, salads and munchies. Most locations also offer a full bar and craft beer bars that feature local beers from neighborhood breweries. We even have Kool-Aid!

CheBA Hut is seeking a skilled and creative Bartender to join our team. As a CheBA Hut Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting unique and refreshing thirst-quenching recipes for our guests. We are looking for someone who is passionate about mixology and has a strong knowledge of bar operations. Bartenders are expected to provide the best possible service and encourage a friendly community vibe.

Requirements

Required Experience, Skills & Abilities:

• Think “shop first” / customer first
• Proven experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of spirits, wines, and beers
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate integrity
• Demonstrate self-direction
• Demonstrate “heads-up”. Keep your head on a swivel and be aware of your surroundings
• Alcohol Service Safety certifications (ServeSafe, T.I.P.S)
• Team-oriented attitude

Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs (lifting/pushing/pulling inventory/kegs)
• Stamina to work a 10-hour shift
• Ability to work under mentally and physically stressful situations
• Ability to work in team environment with high levels of collaboration
• Must be comfortable with marijuana themed culture
