The Chat Support / Live Chat Representative serves as the first point of contact for students, families, and community members through live chat and online messaging platforms. The role provides timely, friendly, and professional support by answering questions, resolving concerns, and connecting individuals with the appropriate programs and resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent written communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Strong typing and multitasking abilities are expected.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and online tools is needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.

Responsibilities

• Respond to live chat inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide accurate information about Island Grad Inc.'s programs, services, and events.
• Assist students, families, and community members with general questions and support requests.
• Resolve routine concerns or elevate complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with internal staff to ensure excellent customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.
• Perform other chat support and customer service duties as assigned.
