Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a Chassis/Interior/Electrical Serviceability Lead to ensure early designs meet service requirements for the Chassis commodity. You will work with CAD teams to analyze 3D models and identify design changes to reduce repair costs.

You will transfer knowledge to technical writers, trainers, and call center personnel, conduct program vehicle serviceability assessments, and evaluate competitive repair practices to improve reliability and maintenance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in automotive or engineering technology.
• 5 years of automotive repair and technical service experience.
• Diagnosing chassis systems (steering, suspension, hub assemblies, alignment).
• Experience using CAD and interfacing with 3D models.
• Familiarity with vehicle manufacturing processes and quality methods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure early designs meet service requirements for the Chassis commodity.
• Assess future designs and address non-compliance via design changes.
• Transfer applicable product knowledge to technical documentation authors, technical training and contact center personnel.
• Interface with Chassis engineering and program management on service design issues.
• Perform program vehicle serviceability assessments and competitive vehicle evaluations.
