• Investigate chassis-related quality issues identified in manufacturing assembly plants, warranty claims, testing facilities, and customer feedback.
• Lead root-cause problem solving using 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, and other structured quality tools.
• Coordinate containment and issue resolution with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Track quality concerns from initial identification through containment, validation, and final closure.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, DFMEAs, PFMEAs, control plans, and validation results.
• Support prototype vehicle builds, launch events, plant inspections, and formal quality reviews.
• Analyze warranty data and quality metrics to identify trends, pareto priorities, and systemic improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Tier-1 suppliers to address component quality concerns and verify corrective action implementation.
• Prepare and present quality status updates, risk assessments, containment plans, and permanent corrective actions to management.
