Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Chassis Quality Engineer to support Stellantis vehicle programs. The engineer will investigate and resolve complex quality concerns involving brakes, steering, suspension, wheels, tires, and related chassis systems across manufacturing, testing, and field environments.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering and have 3–5 years of automotive quality/engineering experience, with strong knowledge of chassis systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of automotive engineering, quality, manufacturing, or validation experience.
• Chassis knowledge: brakes, steering, suspension, wheels, or tires.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, 8D, and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to read GD&T drawings and technical specifications.
• Willingness to travel to assembly plants or supplier locations.

Responsibilities

• Investigate chassis quality issues across facilities and customer feedback.
• Lead root-cause analysis using 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D.
• Coordinate containment and resolution with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers.
• Track issues from identification to closure.
• Review DFMEAs, PFMEAs, control plans and validation results.
• Support prototype builds, plant inspections, and quality reviews.
• Analyze warranty data and quality metrics to identify trends.
• Collaborate with suppliers on corrective actions.
• Present quality status and risk assessments to management.
