Job summary

Lincoln Motor Company is seeking an Associate Chassis Engineer to drive the design and validation of brakes, steering, wheels, tires, and suspension systems. You will balance driving dynamics, mass, cost, and manufacturability across concept development and full-vehicle testing.

You will work with cross-functional teams to set specifications, validate feasibility, and lead prototype testing and data-driven improvements for next-generation platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 1 year automotive engineering experience; EV exposure preferred.
• Strong foundation in statics, dynamics, materials, and thermal principles.

Responsibilities

• Design novel chassis concepts balancing dynamics, mass, cost, and manufacturability.
• Define data-driven specifications for system sizing and safety attributes.
• Lead feasibility assessments with manufacturing, service, and launch teams.
