Hyundai Motor Group seeks a Sr. Chassis Dynamics Development Engineer to lead high performance chassis dynamics development for NA markets. The role focuses on active control systems, e‑LSD, e‑AWD, and steering solutions, with testing on road and off‑road tracks to meet performance targets.

You will mentor junior engineers, support pre‑launch activities, and travel up to 40% domestically and internationally while collaborating with Chassis/Brake and NVH teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in vehicle dynamics and chassis control/high-performance chassis dynamics.
• 5+ years in vehicle stability, controllability, and traction development.

Responsabilités

• Chassis dynamics development including active control performance development (e-LSD, e-AWD, Rear Wheel Steering, Steer By Wire).
• On-road and off-road chassis dynamic performance development for high performance vehicles.
• Develop in-house testing and procure instrumentation for test trials.
• Follow NHTSA test procedures and major media test procedures for objective testing.
• Benchmark competitive vehicles and Hyundai/Kia at gateway points.
• Translate product vision into vehicle dynamics performance and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Support chassis R&D activities at the Proving Ground and assist in project planning and budgeting.
